A serene hike in the rainforest takes you from the trail head of Skookumchuk Narrows Provincial Park to the Skookumchuk Narrows observation points for the spectacular waves and whirlpools. Even when we don’t have the big tides that produce such a spectacular water display, the trail is the perfect place to experience our pacific northwest rainforest. The hike is relatively flat and takes approximately 45 minutes each way. Washrooms are located at each end of the trail.Make sure you leave some time to visit the Skookumchuk Bakery and Cafe located just a few feet in from the trail head to sample their amazing cinnamon buns and other delectable treats. Have a fabulous time!
